FIRST-TIME LOTTERY PLAYER AMONG FLORIDA'S LATEST
HOLIDAY MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE™ WINNERS
TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announces that two more Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE™ grand prize winners have claimed their $1 million prize at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. The two winners are Katherine Miller, 72, of Sag Harbor, NY, and Robin Korner, 58, of Palm Bay. Three of seven $1 million prizes remain unclaimed.
"I have never purchased a lottery ticket before," said Miller. "My Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE ticket was a gift from my sister," Miller explained. "How lucky that the first time I played, I won!"
Miller's winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, located at 1690 Southeast Walton Road in Port St. Lucie. Robin Korner purchased her winning Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE ticket at Racetrac, located at 5995 Babcock Street Northeast in Palm Bay. Each retailer received a bonus incentive of $5,000 for selling a $1 million-winning ticket.
Along with the seven $1 million prizes, 540 other prizes ranging from $500 to $50,000 were awarded in the Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE New Year's Eve drawing held on December 31. Additionally, this year's Raffle offered five weekly drawings, in which a $10,000 prize and two hundred $500 prizes were won. In total, 1,552 players won more than $8.675 million in prizes in the Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE. Plus, players who purchased early had the chance to participate in the Playoff Bonus Drawing, in which 10 winners were selected to attend the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl and won cash prizes of up to $25,000 in an exciting prize reveal on-field at the game. The Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE game generated more than $1.9 million in revenue for education.
