MOSSY HEAD MAN CLAIMS $1 MILLION POWERBALL® WITH POWER PLAY® PRIZE TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery today announced that August 19th POWERBALL® with Power Play® $1 million winner Edward Wilson, 54, of Mossy Head, claimed his prize at the Florida Lottery Pensacola District Office. Wilson was thrilled about his POWERBALL win and brought 10 of his family members to the Lottery office with him to share in the excitement. He purchased his winning POWERBALL ticket at Fillups Food Store, located at 901 Beal Parkway N.W. in Fort Walton Beach. The retailer will receive $1,000 for selling the winning ticket. POWERBALL jackpots start at $20 million and increase with each rollover. Power Play is an add-on feature to POWERBALL that gives players a chance to win up to $1 million. With the purchase of a POWERBALL ticket players can add Power Play for $1 more per play to multiply their non-jackpot prize winnings. Power Play purchasers who match 5 numbers will win $1 million - the POWERBALL match 5 prize multiplied by 5. All other non-jackpot prizes will be multiplied by the Power Play number, from 2 through 5, selected at draw time. The next POWERBALL drawing will be held Saturday, August 22, at 10:59 p.m. ET with a $20 million jackpot.
