SEBRING MAN CLAIMS FANTASY 5® TOP PRIZE TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announced today that FANTASY 5® winner Larry Peterson, of Sebring, claimed the $257,212.58 FANTASY 5 top prize drawn on June 6. Peterson purchased his winning FANTASY 5 Quick Pick ticket at Sebring Citgo, located at 1409 U.S. Highway 27 South in Sebring. The retailer received a bonus incentive of $500 for selling the top prize winning ticket. The winning numbers were: 02 - 09 - 16 - 31 - 36 Total ticket sales for this top prize generated approximately $331,000 for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF). Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $19 billion to the EETF, benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education.
