The new $250,000 TREASURE TREE Scratch-Off game launched on October 6, 2009. The $5 Scratch-Off offers a top prize of $250,000, and over $10,000,000 in prizes from $30 to $10,000. The game's overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.27. Florida Lottery Scratch-Off prizes must be claimed within 60 days of the end-of-game date for that game, which is announced in the Scratch-Off section of the Florida Lottery Web site. Tickets may be purchased at any of the more than 13,000 Florida Lottery retail locations.

Florida voters, by a two-to-one margin, approved a constitutional amendment in 1986 authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education. Today, Floridians continue to show their support by purchasing nearly $4 billion in Lottery products per year.
