Strategic Partnerships works to enhance public education in Florida. Our department works to expand awareness of the Bright Futures Scholarship (BFS) Program and provide students and their families access to resources that promote eligibility and application completion. Does this align with your organization?   • Offer volunteer opportunities
  • Provide mentoring
  • Cater to our audiences and their goals

Tips for building your proposal

  1. Create value for partnership

    • Emphasize the importance of aligning proposals with the Florida Lottery's Strategic Partnership mission.
    • Please highlight if your organization provides students with any of the following: college preparation (FASFA Information, SAT/ACT Prep), volunteer opportunities and mentoring.
  2. Clearly define the assets the Florida Lottery's will receive

    • Provide a detailed list of tangible benefits, resources, or contributions the Florida Lottery expects from the partnership. This includes specifying promotional materials, public relations exposure, community engagement opportunities, and other valuable assets exchanged in the collaboration.
  3. Think less marketing assets, and more public relations/engagements

    • Emphasize building meaningful relationships and public engagement rather than focusing solely on traditional marketing materials.
    • Prioritize initiatives that foster community connections and positive public perception.
  4. Check if your organization aligns with our audience

    • Our vision is to expand awareness of Bright Futures Scholarship (BFS) Program and provide students and their families access to resources that promote eligibility and application completion. To confirm partnership compatibility, we've created a PDF chart outlining our audience's demographics and goals.
  5. Submit the completed Proposal Request Form 3-6 months in advance

    • Submit your Partnership Proposal Form 3-6 months ahead to allow ample time for thorough review, planning, and seamless execution of the collaboration.
